Goodbye 2013

The days have been extremely hot of late, 48 in the shade.

I was asked the other day “Do you ever wonder why you live out west in that severe heat?”  Yes, I must admit, visions of a poolside with cocktail bar come to mind when living through days that make the mercury nearly escape from the top of thermometer. However, I would not want to miss out on capturing those wonderful big sky moments.

I recently enjoyed another birthday. Another year has flown by and once again it has been a year of learning. To all those with whom I have interacted with on social media, this blog included, I want to say a very big “thank you”. I have learnt from you all and I always value your input; your opinions, the information you share, our debates, the humour, your tolerance and your patience. Through you all I learn about myself.

I would like to share a resent tweet of mine – “It’s a free buy diclofenac over counter uk world in Aus, thanks 2 many that gave their all, what others think of me is their business, not mine” That Tweet included this quote  “The greatest fear in the world is of the opinions of others. And the moment you are unafraid of the crowd you are no longer a sheep, you become a lion. A great roar arises in your heart, the roar of freedom.”

So it’s goodbye 2013. You have dealt up a considerably mixed bag of circumstances in my world,  resulting in various emotional responses  which I feel have made me stronger and more determined. I have a much clearer vision of the directions my life will take in the future.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish one and all a Happy, Safe and, to those farmers and graziers who need it, a very wet 2014.
